Please send us the complete trace level jrebel.log file right after you’ve reproduced this issue to support@zeroturnaround.com.
Trace logging for JRebel can be enabled by appending the following to your VM options:
-Drebel.log=trace
The log itself should end up in your ${USER_HOME}/.jrebel/ directory.
Also, could you please confirm whether the server starts successfully when the JAXB integration plugin has been disabled?
The plugin can be disabled with the following VM parameter:
-Drebel.jaxb_plugin=false
